What are missed calls costing you?
Every unanswered call is a customer who already chose you, then got voicemail. Put in your own numbers and see the revenue you're leaking every month — and what a text-back would recover.
Defaults are deliberately conservative: 62% of missed callers reply to a prompt text, and you close under half of those. Tune them to your shop.
≈ 12.1 extra jobs booked per month from calls you're missing today.
That's 18.2× the subscription — recovered from customers who already called you.
One recovered call a week, by trade
Recover just a handful of missed calls a month and the math dwarfs the subscription. Approximate monthly upside from recovering ~12 jobs at one average ticket each:
| Average ticket | Recovered / month (est.) | |
|---|---|---|
| HVAC repair | $450 | $5,400+/mo |
| Plumbing service | $400 | $4,800+/mo |
| Roof replacement | $9,000 | $108,000+/mo |
| Electrical | $350 | $4,200+/mo |
Estimates assume ~10 missed calls/week, 62% reply to a text-back and a 45% close rate on replies — deliberately conservative. Your real numbers are what matter; the calculator above uses them.
How the calculator works
It's deliberately simple and transparent — no black box:
missed calls/week × 4.33 weeks × reply-rate × close-rate = jobs recovered/month
jobs recovered × average ticket = revenue recovered/month
revenue recovered − $299 subscription = net gain/month
The 4.33 converts weeks to an average month. The reply rate is how many missed callers answer the automatic text (default 62%); the close rate is how many of those you turn into booked, completed jobs (default 45%). Both are conservative — most shops beat them, and none of it counts the after-hours calls you never even see today.
Missed-call cost calculator — FAQ
How much revenue do missed calls actually cost?+
It depends on your call volume and average ticket, but the math is brutal for the trades. Miss 10 calls a week at a $450 average ticket, assume 62% of those callers would reply to a prompt text and you close under half, and that's roughly $6,000 a month walking to whoever answers next. Use the calculator above with your own numbers.
What numbers should I plug in?+
Missed calls per week (calls that ring out, hit voicemail or come in after hours), your average completed-job value, the share of missed callers who'll reply to a text (~62% is typical), and the share of those replies you close. The defaults are conservative on purpose — the honest number is usually higher.
Where does the 62% reply rate come from?+
Across missed-call text-back deployments, a majority of callers who get an immediate text reply to it — far more than leave a voicemail, since 80%+ of people who reach voicemail simply hang up and dial the next result. We default to 62% and let you lower it if your market is different.
How is this different from a generic ROI calculator?+
It models the specific leak SignalRevive plugs: the calls you never answer. It uses real trade average tickets, a reply rate grounded in text-back behavior, and your own close rate — then nets out the flat subscription so you see the actual monthly upside, not a vanity number.
Is the SignalRevive price really $299/month?+
Yes — $299/month flat for the full service (number, AI booking, reminders, follow-ups, compliance, dashboard). No per-text or per-minute charges; generous fair-use allowance (200 recoveries / 2000 texts per month). The calculator subtracts the subscription so the net figure is what you'd keep. See the pricing page for the complete list.
